Todd Adolph developed a deep passion for fly fishing from a young age. Brought up in Queenstown, he has been exposed to some of New Zealand's best waters and knows them extensively.
And it’s in the blood. His father and uncle are both fly fishing guides in the Otago and Southland regions, which has enabled Todd to build on their comprehensive in-depth knowledge of the fisheries. His approach is based around teaching, and he believes every day on the river is an opportunity to gain more understanding and develop as an angler.

Professionally, Todd is a member of the New Zealand professional fishing guides association (NZPFGA) and operates under an audited Health and Safety plan. He holds all mandatory insurances, and has concessions by the New Zealand Department of Conservation to guide within our National Parks and river reserves legally.
Todd's approach to guiding is about teaching specific fly fishing methods that coincide with an array of waters while helping out with fly-casting techniques. His goal is to help people improve their angling skills, so they quickly apply what they have learned on their home waters.
